WHAT IS WorldHostingDays?

WorldHostingDays is the global event series for the cloud services and internet infrastructure industries. The main event is WHD.global, a week-long festival that happens annually in Germany. It’s where leaders come together to understand how all digital technologies fit together to shape our current world and our future.

WorldHostingDays has been around since 2003 and was originally focused on the hosting industry. Over the years, attendees have come from a wider range of fields, and the hosting industry itself has needed to adopt a more robust array of technologies. With its unique programming and atmosphere, WHD.global is now the main global event for cloud services and internet infrastructure. It features more than 120 presentations and 200 exhibitors that bring you the most cutting-edge digital innovations, and topics spanning the entire range of digital technology and culture.

WHD.global

WHD.global is a seven-day festival celebrating digital technology and online creativity. More than 6,500 attendees come to WHD.global, located at Germany’s largest theme park, Europa-Park, to gain a clear picture of cloud services and internet infrastructure. It’s the world’s largest event of its kind.

Now in its 13th year, WHD.global has always been a fun an engaging event that’s been essential in helping attendees understand how all digital technologies shape our world. This year, we have must-see presentations and exhibits, a full schedule of activities and huge musical acts. It’s all happening in Rust, Germany, at Europa-Park from March 25 to 31, 2017. You can’t miss this event!

There was no shortage of obstacles along the way ranging from terrifying storms, to a Dutch court trying to stop her voyage, to the isolation of being alone at sea. Her incredible story was made into the full-length documentary Maidentrip and in her memoir One Girl One Dream. Currently, her home is in her boat in New Zealand.
